Hemisphere Resources is actively exploring for gold and nickel with the aim of becoming a successful producer.
The Company’s projects are:
Hemisphere Resources is currently exploring and developing its tenements, with target commodities being gold, nickel and uranium.
The Company has an extensive database for the Glandore Gold Project, and also for the Mulgarrie Nickel Project (70% HEM, held in Joint Venture). These projects are in close proximity to Kalgoorlie-Boulder, a major gold and nickel mining centre in Western Australia.
Hemisphere has engaged Mr Bob Watchorn as Consulting Geologist. Mr Watchorn has previously held senior positions with major Western Australian companies and has extensive experience in both nickel and gold exploration and mining.
At Glandore, thorough analysis of the data and geological investigations led to defining strategic targets and the planning of exploration programs in the field. Excellent exploration results at Glandore has proved the value of the Company’s strategy and expertise.
The Mulgarrie Nickel Project is in a district geologically conducive to the presence of economic nickel mineralisation. Drilling targets have been identified through previous exploration and nickel and copper anomalies demonstrated. The Company is exploring to further identify and investigate prospective target areas.
In addition, the Company has secured six priority Exploration Licence Applications to target uranium mineralisation in a known uranium province. The Sandstone Uranium Project covers over 600sqkm and is within proximity to known uranium occurrences, including Yeelirrie, the world’s largest unmined calcrete uranium deposit.
