Glandore Axial Planar Fault

The Axial Planar Fault has been intersected by drilling over a strike length of approximately 400m, to a maximum depth of around 150m below surface and it is open at depth and along strike in both directions.

Drilling to date suggests that gold has been depleted in the upper region (approximately 30m of weathered rock) with continuous mineralised structure beneath. The favourable rock type is the granophyric zone and mineralisation is known to exist where north west trending faults intersect this zone. Known mineralisation to date dips 60° to the south west and strikes north west.

The Axial Planar Fault is some 200m east of the Supergene Zone and has parallel dip. Numerous intersections show strong grades including 1m at 10.9g/t from 103m, 1.2m at 12.5g/t from 92.5m, 4.8m at 2.84g/t from 81m and 10.25m at 10.3g/t from 58m.

Drilling Focus

Drilling of the Axial Planar fault is aiming initially to infill the previous widely spaced holes with the opportunity to test the depth and strike extension potential in the future.

The Axial Planar Fault – Drill Section A – A’

Parallel to Supergene, the target is enhanced by drilling and represents a potential underground target. Further drilling is planned.
